Hydraulic Separator
This is a simple application used to determine the correct size of a hydraulic separator. A hydraulic separator is frequently used in heating and cooling systems for separating the primary and secondary circuits.
Determine the needed heat output and the lowest temperature difference. For example, an installation of fan coils typically requires a temperature difference of 5 degrees Celsius. The heat output should be known. Enter both numbers into the input fields and three dimensions will be calculated. Tap on the Schematic button and use the calculated dimensions when deciding on a hydraulic separator or when designing your own from scratch.
